I placed my order but still have no idea what to expect.

No offense to 7bit but I hesitated to even place my order for a long time because it seemed easier to just start my own GB with one single kit and see how low we could get the price. I know a complete set of DS would generate a lot of interest (even if we had to sacrafice by simplifying the style to create something for everyone). But of course I won't do this because there's been so much work going through this GB and it would only make things worse for everyone. Plus I trust 7bit will pull this together somehow, even on a non-existent Feb. 31st deadline .

I still think there are too many options and too wide a spectrum of options, making everyone's price way too high to be desirable though. It almost feels like the majority has to pay the price for the minority to have their customization options.

its a blue keycap. the red esc lettering is invisible i think that is what 7bit wanted to say.
his order script is probably quite complex and in order to allow all the possibilities there are some dead ends like this i guess.

Yes, both will be available and SPACEUNI will have 7 units be suitable for PHANSI, G80-1000/3000, plus some older G80-1800.

The file in you ling is no color-scheme but shows which rows the keys will be from. Black is row 3, red is row 1, green is row 2 and blue is row 1. (just read the text!)

With all the additions and cutbacks, Round4 is similar to the "ship of theseus" philosophical idea. See, if round4 starts off with some sots, and they get replaced one by one with different ones, is it the same GB? If so, when does it stop being it? If 'evil 7bit' takes all the discarded bits, and make them into a new GB, is that the same as this one?

The kits should fit your filco. Only some keys (The two stem 2x POS keys in particular) won't fit your keyboard
Most of the round3 kits don't come with a spacebar, you'd need to add "ROUND3/SPACE" (for example) to your order.

ROUND3/SPACE* means that you can have other colour options in place of the * (a wildcard) so ROUND3/SPACE*/GREY won't work, but ROUND3/SPACE/GREY should get your the spacebar you want.

If in doubt, add a bunch of stuff to the order, and see what "works" (In the email) Then edit out what you don't wont/need. That's what I did. Trial and error really taught me a lot about how the GB and script work.

I was going for the cheaper BLOOD STD 108 or so kit. I don't need 137 caps.
I'll opt for the TKL and just use some red and black spares for my numpad. I hope BLOOD doesn't get canceled altogether, then I'm out.

Can I just ask 7-bit a question please.  Are the colours of the keys in this Retro Kit the same as your avitar picture, i.e. lighter or are they the darker greys of the round 3 retro kit?  I am concerned because I purchased just about everything from the round 3 and they were excellent (using them now) however I dont want the same kit again.

What I really really want is my Filco to look like the picture below.  What excatly do I order to acheive this.  I was considering buying an old Cherry off of ebay and nicking the keycaps from it.  It would cost less and be more authentic!

I am not 7bit but that should be old cherry double shots harvested from an old board, together with a moogle kit to compensate for some non fitting keys.

I will kip the orange on very dark grey but keep the white on orange one, because there are more orders for it (also enough for an acceptable price).

I will also offer ROUND3/ALPHA/WHITE/ORANGE which contains all GE grey keys of the STANDARD kit in white on orange.

On the other hand, I will skip the ORANJE style.

I already have got a solution:
I collect the money for the EU orders and anybody else finds someone who collects the money for them and  then pay SP directly. So the amounts are not so high. If Paypal closes one account it does not affect the whole group buy.
