Das Keyboard vs. Cherry G80 3000
« on: Tue, 30 August 2011, 22:23:44 »
Hi,

on this forum I read, that "Das Keyboard II" is technically identical to a "Cherry G80 3000".
Is there another technical brother/sister of the recent "Das Keyboard Model S"?

Thank you very much for any help in advance!

Best regards,
mcc

The Das III and S have no cousins like that, they're an independent design, produced by Costar. The keycaps are identical to Filcos, except for the printing method. There is a review comparing the Filco and Das Keyboard, which are probably most similar of keyboard, having the same manufacturer.

I have a Das Keyboard II and have notice the similarity.  I just found this thread while searching for references.

I think they are the same.  Look at the Num/Caps/Scroll lock lights on both of them.  They are identical.
