Cherry POS onboard memory?

I have a g80-8200 with ergo clears I'm no longer using.  I read somewhere that it has onboard memory and stores a record of credit cards- is that true? If so, is it possible to wipe it?

I thought the onboard memory was only for recording macros? It might not be. That's just what I thought it had.

If you live in AZ you can try my keyboards. I usually keep plenty of different ALPS and MX and buckling springs.
