Custom keycaps on a DAS?
« on: Sat, 10 December 2011, 17:40:08 »
I'm looking into getting a DAS Professional silent, but I'm interested in all the custom keycaps I'm seeing on this site, such as the StarCraft keys and Team Liquid keys. Would these fit onto a DAS keyboard, or are DAS keycaps shaped differently? Thanks for all your help!

im pretty sure any cherry mx keycaps will work with it you just have to make sure they are the same size modifiers (etc) and row would probably also come in play

I think Das keys are the same profile as Filco, so if you keep that in mind there's still plenty of options.
Filco Majestouch-2 with Cherry Corp. doubleshot keys - Leopold Tenkeyless Tactile Force with Wyse doubleshots - Silicon Graphics 9500900 - WASD V1 - IBM Model M 52G9658 - Noppoo Choc Pro with Cherry lasered PBT keycaps - Wyse 900866-01 - Cherry G80-8200LPBUS/07 - Dell AT101W - several Cherry G81s (future doubleshot donors) (order of current preference) (dang I have too many keyboards, I really only need two)

Yeah, if you want to mix cherry/costar key profiles, you'll have a bumpy keyboard.
