Compaq mx 11800 (cheap!!!)
« on: Fri, 06 January 2012, 07:23:34 »
Looking for a (cheap as hell) COMPAQ MX 11800 that I can strip the switches out of.

I.e. ~$10-20. Dirty is ok, as long as the switches are fine.

Let me know, thanks!

Do you desire some vintage awesomeness?

I received some vintage blacks this morning, and those switches feel awesome. Literally I lost my lust for Topre.
Definitely better than my recent blacks. Virtually there is no friction inside the switch. These are almost as smooth as my Topre without even lubing, and these don't wobble nearly as much as my old blacks.
I can imagine how these would feel after applying the RO-59, Krytox grease and oil, and the titanium springs with the stickers.
