IBM "Personal Computer" Keyboard

At the used computer store today I saw a beige IBM keyboard that had what I think are mechanical keys. The only identifying marks I could find on it are a badge in the upper left hand corner of the keyboard that said "Personal Computer." The keyboard weighed probably twice what a bubble dome keyboard weighs. It had a knob at each end of the keyboard in the upper corner that, if twisted, rotated out a couple of feet to make the keyboard stand at an angle. It had a coiled black cord with an AT connector at the end. Just to refresh those readers not familiar with it, an AT connector was a circular connector larger than a PS2 connector with five pins set inside the metal circular housing.

I'll probably buy this just because I liked the key action. But I would like to know more about the keyboard.

Model F. If you're lucky it's the AT, and you can use it. If you're unlucky it's the XT and you can't.

They both use that same connector, so that isn't a differentiator.

What is is the XT has ALL keys in the same area - ie no plastic in between the numpad and the rest and whatnot. It all just kind of runs together.

The AT DOES have some separation between the numpad and the rest. You just need an AT -> PS/2 adapter, same signal set just different shape.
