Did my Poker died?
« on: Wed, 18 January 2012, 09:51:43 »
Well, there have been symptoms, at first the USB just drops away randomly, a reconnection was all it needed.

Today, it connected, 30 seconds later it crapped out again.
After a few minutes of struggling, plug in and out, the lights on the CapsLock kept on flashing, intermittently.
Then,  it died.

Have you tried a different USB-Cable?

Yeah, also tried different PC.
The PC said USB driver not recognized.
After a while, that auto driver installation thing did not even pop up anymore.

Damn. My Poker had similar symptoms, which I first attributed to the amateurish soldering I put it through (didn't get recognized, if I reconnected USB; capslock flashing), but after I replaced the USB-cable it was fine again.

RIP
