I honestly am not sure, though someone else might know. The profile will almost assuredly be different, but as for the fitment all I am certain of is that it will be compatible with Filcos and Leos and thus, most keyboards. Specific models though, I dunno.

Hm, Filco and G80 have the same width and stab position for the space bar but the switch position is different... the space bar in round4 has 4 stems so it fits on both. If the space will be the same as in the cancled round4 blood set (with 4 stems) it should fit.

It is the same spacebar with 4 stems. This was the blood set until I reclaimed it.

Btw guys, I ideally need about 10-14 more sets. Then I can get some extras to sell for negligible investment and try and make some money off of this, as well as providing leftovers for those that didn't get in. As the price difference is only $3 at the next break I figure this is pretty reasonable.

I have a blank WASD menu key, and yeah the profile is different from SP.  Not as different as SP is from Cherry though.

I just added some NIOR blanks to my Round 4 order.  Looks like it might actually end, too.  I'm surprised how many people actually *want* a Windows logo on their super key.  Suum cuique.

Yes the space bar from the base set will fit a G80-3000

if theres extra cost disregard it then, i'm not a 100% sure if they already produced it or not. Yes thats the design I want for the add on kit, it adds to the compatibility, just makes it even more universal that's all.

Everything on the base kit will fit the Filco TKL completely. the 104 add on kit will make it so it fits any Filco/Leopold 104 keyboard

This just cements further in my mind the idea that superbuys are not really worth the effort.  I think the only advantage to them is that you can get really obscure low-quantity stuff like language kits at good prices.

Note that this buy is being run a lot like R1 was.  One main kit, very few options, take it or leave it.  I think R3 will end up being one-of-a-kind.

Agreed that this makes a lot more sense.  Even R4 seems like it could have been split up to be less confusing without really changing the price.  Somehow I doubt the quantity of SPH sets affects the price of the RETRO sets, etc.  I eventually wrapped my head around it, but it took a while.  If they were done as separate rounds, it may have gone faster.

I can't wait for Windows 8 beta.  All the new cool features.  Did you see the new skydrive integration?  I will need to buy one of those Samsung tablets to run Windows 8 beta on.  A tablet that I can plug aany of my keyboards directly onto and get 100% key coverage, unlike iPad.  Imagine that!

Okay so I am going to triple check here, for the ISO kit we need these keys:

Those are all the keys I cross-examined with an ANSI Filco that are different. Whether the ISO guys are super picky about legends and want this, or want to just go with an enter key and everything but the number keys in the top left is up to you guys. I'm composing my email right now so you guys don't have long to weigh in. If I get no response I'm just going with all 9 keys.

I thought about a cheap ISO kit with 4 keys (yes, just 4!) that creates a US ISO layout. Like this one, just 105, not 104 (this one still has a long left shift, so there's one more row4 key needed, it's just like a 1unit modifier):

It would fit every ISO board, and it is in fact an existing layout. AND it is the cheapest solution - you need 4 keys anyway to make it fit: JRET, 1.25 shift, an additional row 4 key where the long shift was, and a row 3 one where the longer part of the ANSI enter was.

Anyway, it's up to you to decide. A full language layout is 1. expensive and 2. is just for one country after all, so => even less orders and even higher prices. I'd actually be more than willing to pay them (I'll lose a significant amount of money in round 4, lol), but I'm not sure about others, and I thought it might be nice to establish a standardized, cheap and easy ISO AddOn kit that can be used in all future group buys, too. Any other opinions on this? As I said, I'm pretty much happy with every solution as long as I get my keys, and I think I might even get 4-5 orders for a full German layout with some advertising, but that's still really not much...

Hm, the picture is a UK layout, thats some part of the difference. The really necessary keys are the enter, left shift, the key right of the left shift and the key on row 3 left from enter (should have \ on it for US or the ~# on your picture)

The .@ one is also redundant. Nice for UK guys legend wise, but not needed for ISO compatibility. That's really just JRET, 1.25 shift and one 1unit row 4 (legend: no idea) + 1unit row 3 (legend: |\) each.

This, basically. The additional key? Don't know. Any kind of legend would look dorky, imo, the one you'll usually find on ISO boards there is something with | or <>, but all symbols already are at other places on the board in this US ISO. I'd suggest a nice novelty thingy, star thingy or whatever, but I really don't mind other ideas. :-P
