KBC poker or KBT race?

I don't know which one to get. Size, portability, or price doesn't matter to me. What are your inputs on those keyboards mentioned in the title? If it makes any difference, I own a Filco mj2 tkl.

How about KBT Pure? No, but really; those aren't that different in the whole scheme of things. If you are attached to dedicated arrow keys, ins/del, page up/down, etc, then the Race is the only of the three small boards that has them. Poker is the only one without backlighting options (although the Pure isn't quite US available yet...).

If portability or size in general don't matter to you, why do you look at these small boards? If I were indifferent to those aspects I'd go for one of the much easier-to-get Leopolds or, as you already own, a Filco.
Please keep in mind they are all Cherry boards and (I'm fairly sure) all the Poker, Race, and Pure boards use Cherry stabilizers: otherwise, there isn't much difference other than layout.
40% layout, anyone?

Rumudiez pretty much outlined it. If size and portability doesn't matter, then there's no difference other than backlighting and layout, which is all personal preference.

KBT RACE -> Friendlier layout, backlit (if you care), but harder to get replacement keycaps.

KBC Poker -> Compromises in user friendliness (one can always get used to it), but easier to play with different awesome keycpas from groupbuys

If you don't care about the backlighting, get a Poker (with PBT keycaps). You can't open a switch without desoldering, if it has an LED on it.

i just got the kbtalking race 75% as my first mechanical.

I really do like it though the smaller size is taking some getting used to. The only thing I'm having trouble nailing is the right shift key because it's smaller and I swear slightly out of place but I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually.

I do see why people get the full size keyboards now but I play in the dark mostly so back lighting is essential for me.

I can say after using the race for a few day's that it's a very fine product though realize it's a "high end" style keyboard meaning it's not quite as nice to type on as a keyboard with a traditional layout.

The cherry blues are amazing btw.
