Well they were a trade for my ssk and cash. Caps came out to be $80 though.

The whole PAC computer looks to be barely used and when examined the only signs of wear were small scuffs on the outside of the keyboard and PC case. Military grade!

every dolch set i've come across has been nearly pristine. think about how these computers are used. people aren't typing on them that much.

The caps on my 63C also show little to no wear. I guess it helps that the PAC is non-functional. Makes me wonder if it's been broken for a long time or just owned by some genius who never needed to troubleshoot his own network. Makes me want to keep them pristine and not use them at all.

On the other hand, I'm using some white on black Cherry DS which were well worn when I got them a couple of years ago. A few of the home row keys are polished to a mirror like finish. It actually looks pretty cool. I can't wait for the rest of them to get shiny.

Some of the REALLY old Dolch models caps were done by another company, might be SP. Those have orange legends on the modifiers so it is really easy to tell even in heinous 120p ebay pictures.

How close of a replica set was it? Matching the font and color is one thing. how about those clean sharp edges and the even slightly lower than SP profile?
