Hey guys,


First post but this looks like an incredible keyboard community, perfect for my next project and question.


I would like to modify an IBM M POS keyboard to use as an input device for a project i am building. My understanding is that this keyboard uses a RJ45 port. I will be reading the output from this keyboard with a PIC micro controller. My question is what sort of output can i expect from this device? What protocol does it follow? Will i be able to decode the signals by analyzing all of the HIGH / LOW times outputted?
