Announcing Round3 of my ANSI Doubleshots GB
« on: Tue, 27 March 2012, 16:17:41 »
First off please take the time and read through what I write here. Thanks!

Here is a link to my thread on DT with pictures of sets I have sold in the past. The coming sets are from the same source.
http://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=568

This one will have to run a bit differently due to uni starting and my schedule being full most of the time.
I have received ALL remaining boards from my source. Meaning, this is your ***LAST*** chance to get a set of these babies.

There is no waiting list yet so dont post hoping to reserve a set. This will happen once I've tallied the conditions of the boards. There will be 150+ sets total.

Once I have some time I will start sorting the boards by condition (used, lightly used, new, trackpoint) and putting them up for sale as I manage to pull them. I doubt I can do another pulling marathon like gb2 in the next weeks, so it will be a bit slower.

I will post the caps for sale once I am ready with the first sets.

Quick information for everyone planning to buy a set from me:

Hashbaz is organizing a new group buy of moogle kits! This is your chance to order a white moogle to match the caps you buy from me. The moogle kit includes all caps needed to use the doubleshots on a modern filo/costar board, since the "old" 1.5 modifiers, caps lock, etc. wont fit. You can order here: http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?&p=552122&viewfull=1#post552122
(I am ordering several^^)

UPDATE #1

Quote
I am taking orders for the first 62 sets now. Please post in the following thread at DT:
http://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php...p=11341#p11341

available for order:

27 trackpoint sets
29 used sets
6 lightly used sets

DO NOT ORDER VIA PM, please post in the DT topic.

I would be interested in buying as many New sets as you are willing to sell me.  I would be less interested in buying used sets however, although I would be tempted to buy a set that wasn't shiny.

Thanks for your interest guys! I will be posting further information about pricing and conditions once I have time to tally the conditions of the boards.

Switches are MY so I doubt anyone would want a board. There are several sets with a cut out for a track point, those will be cheaper.
I will most likely set a limit on the number of sets per person if the interest is as large as I am afraid it is, just to give more people a chance of getting some. Anyways...with 150 sets I don't expect you folks to camp out my threads like last time ^^

I will make a list of people once I know how many of each condition I have.

I think that will depend on how many I have. I want to be fair to everyone and not give the caps to the one with the biggest wallet. If there are as few as last time I will sell them for the same price the last ones sold and make it a random draw.

:O ... oh right I remember that thread haha.

If I'm correct the used sets went for 30-40 euro? Or are prices going to vary heavily depending on condition?

used sets in the last round went for 25€. Sets in lightly used condition went for 40. Prices will be a bit higher, but not much.
Im not in this for the profit. Glad to give something back to you guys!

Also, for used sets you said it comes with something to clean them with - "tabs", what are these?

I use Cascade dishwasher detergent in a Tupperware container; stir, soak, blast rinse with sprayer. You could do a little better with a toothbrush, but that's a lot of work. ;-P
