I opened one of my ML4100s last night and noticed that (at least on this one) internal supports in the case can wear through the lacquer and traces on the PCB.
Anyone with an ML4100 might want to check on this. I covered the area with tape. I have another ML4100 somewhere. I'm going to dig it up and see if it's built the same.
