I think ill pick up a TKL ninja on this one. Anyone got the limited edition model that can comment on the filco red switch ?

Also not sure if its just me but I don't see it say majestouch 2 on the ninja edition anywhere , even the box ?

I have e-mailed various vendors and the official Filco distributor in Taiwan regarding these new keyboards asking them when they will get it. Stay tuned.

Yeah, MX reds were a limited edition for awhile and cost nearly $200-250.

This means they'll start becoming more widely available.

I actually heard about it in December when I got my R (before Bruce's post). I chalked it up to hearsay. Bruce makes 2, squarebox makes 3, and another distributor makes 4. I know it was coming. I am just posting it here because it is officially on the Filco's page.

For the record, I paid under MSRP. /thumbs nose.

Hmmmm thinking about this some more. May be I'll buy a red ninja and put blank caps on it. I like my blanked out ninja with browns, so may as well do a red one as well. Though, there are those Vortex boards that I want. /so conflicted. I already have too many keyboards I don't use.

I just always found it so odd that the Filco Majestouch Linear R was a "Limited Edition" board considering how popular MX Red switches have become. I believe Brian at EK deserves some props for pushing Filco to make a board with the MX red switches to begin with.

EK was one of the first that brought Filcos to the US but they switched to Leopold last year. Keyboardco sells domestically on Amazon to avoid the high shipping fees and easier US distribution but you're somewhat limited.

In my ideal world, EK would start selling Filcos again.
