I rank it higher than the corsair if it's all MX Red, but the styling is much worse (I think it's ugly).

Could be an excellent source of MX Red switches, though.

Finally, a gaming board that isn't loaded with nasty branding.

I count the G1-G5 keys as "branding". In my opinion, the CMstorm QF Rapid looks much better.

But I prefer the layout, function and price. Since I don't look at it much, I'm easily capable of ignoring the branding (awful though it may be).

That keyboard is beyond ugly, and the mouse looks like it's trying to rip off the current logitech gaming mice.

Bloody nice........and finally a scroll wheel for Lighting and another for Volume.  What more could you ask for?

Also the Space bar is larger than most currently available on the market.........Brilliant.  Always wanted a BIG PHAT space key.

I just wish they made some models with MX Blues and some Browns as well.

I got the $64 RK-9000RE to try out reds.  Still sorting out if I like them or not.  First reaction was that it felt really weird, only similar thing I could think of was some really old terminal keyboards I typed on MANY years ago.  Need some time using it "in anger" to know if it works for me or not.

Saw it at 2012 Computex Taipei in the Gigabyte booth, tried it, and just felt....meh. I just feel like a lot of companies nowadays are just trying too hard to think of features and designs they can add onto a keyboard to make their products "special" for selling points and getting into the mechanical keyboard market. There are so many mechanical keyboard options now and it has gotten to the point companies are just throwing random things onto a keyboard that makes it seem like a trial-and-error to see if consumers like it or not.

Mechanical with the G15/G510 screen would appeal to A LOT more people than macros and backlighting. Though if that ever comes out, I'm sure it'll come with both and be extremely overpriced.

So my first real use of reds this morning is going well. I got over my initial discomfort with the overall lack of feedback and well into getting used to it, error rate going down.  It's nearly as quiet as my thinkpad keyboard but the caps resonate a bit making it louder.  Guess I'll need to put some o-rings on if I want to improve that, if I can find the right size.
