Just moving this to the appropriate place,

You don't need to see MagicMeatball's items for sale.
These are not the keyboards you're looking for.
You can go about your business. Move along.

My recommendation, do not take PayPal payment as a gift since PayPal do not like that the receivers use this feature to avoid paying fees.

I think it only matters if you do enough transactions to be flagged as a commercant or whatever. For example if you run a GB.

Nobody cares about 5-10 transactions.

But going the goods route is the safer route.

Isn't the risk of a gift to the buyer not the seller? Paypal might not like it but what can they do about it?

Yes, gift means you can't open a dispute about it if the seller doesn't ship the goods.

But if you receive too much gifts, paypal assumes you are a seller who abuses the gift payment option to not pay the plateform, and removes you the ability to receive gift payments.

You completely opposed to the idea of international shipping, or just making sure people understand they'd have to pay more for it?

I will consider international shipping as long as the buyer covers the added cost.

That would actually be unfair to all. I have dealt with this guy and he is good and fair but lets just suppose that you asked that question, of someone else, and he added $100 to the currently highest offer. Nobody would know and then someone would probably add $5 more and the seller could inflate his own price. The only fair way is a closed bid. That is just my 2 cents.

Guess I wasn't thinking mass quantities as I don't really do that many transactions on paypal.  So yes I can see paypal getting suspicious if there are too many and shutting you down if it continues, after all that's their bread and butter so...

Magic, for future reference, everyone appreciates when you leave the price you sold something at in the OP. It lets people in the future get an idea of what something is worth. Also, you might get some flak about closed bidding. It's happened in the past, although some of the people who started the debacles have since left. While how you conduct your auctions is ultimately up to you, I would suggest you post the highest bid/bidder in the future.
Got a smaller board with white ALPS, Montereys, Cherry Blues, Reds, or Clears you'd like to offload?  Shoot me a PM. Looking for a grey Leopold FC700R in particular.

Wyse buy colors were GSY for the dark grey, GBA for the light grey, and BBI for the fonts.

It's basically a collection of bids, and at the end date I pick the highest bidder. There's not a lot of guess work here. As jcrouse mentioned earlier, it gets pretty cutthroat with a live auction. I also don't have the time to handle constantly updating bids.

But I can throw the prices back up there when I get some time :)

Hmm... Maybe a Google spreadsheet could be utilized for such things, to maintain transparency? Well, I personally don't care how you do it, I'm just offering ideas in the event that someone should give you a hard time. I would appreciate it if you put the prices back up though.

Some update prices on clack offers would be good :peace:

I have to say, I think that is a bad idea. All it will do is start a bidding war. Of course, I am looking at it from a buyer's perspective. If I were the seller I am thinking I may see things differently. Why don't you simply offer the most you are willing to pay, and leave it at that?

just my 2 cents,
John

Do you happen to have a matching grey esc key for the poker? edit: tilde I mean

And pardon my ignorance, but what's a moogle kit?

Also were the keys originally shiny or is that wear? They look to be originally shiny I assume.

To answer one of your questions, the shine is due to wear,

To answer another of your questions, a Moogle kit is the bottom row and side modifiers (modifiers are the ones not letter key sized) that you normally buy separate, the reason they exist would take too much typing on my smartphone to explain.

People usually pay more when they realise they could get an item for a few bucks more.. but good point, up to seller

I do like the other poster's idea about posting the sale price, not the buyer's name, for future reference and help determine value. I was PMing with MagicMeatball about that earlier. I think he will do that.

again, just my opinion,
John

Problem is most people who want higher prices just make sales with no thread what so ever. So doing it this way wont exactly determine the value as such.. but should be a good indicator non the less.

Anyway, made an offer for one of them. Based on this I didn't go crazy... I don't have a job rite now after all :D

uber wear! picture isn't the clearest but don't worry it's definitely wear due to long term usage

Final bids will be posted when the 'silent' auction ends.

As for the shine on the cherry keycaps, used and shiny black on white Cherry sets typically go for around $40-50. No shine goes for about $80-$100, just FYI.

As I said, if you don't like items I post, you can look elsewhere. Thank You.

Blue PCB was pre-production. No one has those.

I was under the impression they were also in early production models, I thought I'd seen them in the wild, but maybe just people who got samples?

I can't believe with all the Pokers on order and the other group buys, I thik Race and something else, that the switches are still available. Am I see right that these would both plate mount and PBC mount, meaning you could do both in iMAV's Poker kit?

Yes, they will PCB mount for a Poker DIY, and you can also use the plate in that kit with them as well.
