Although I think that being a member for a certain amount of time is a better filter for the market place.

Although I think that being a member for a certain amount of time is a better filter for the market place.
we can't currently filter by join date, only post count.

the new permissions setup is that anyone can view the classifieds and gb forums, but you must be registered to post replies, and you must have over a reasonable and non-spammable number of posts to start new classifieds threads.

Thanks for letting those lurkers like me see the gb and classified forums.

I am a fan of the restrictions for posting new threads. This may help stop things like people buying clacks just to sell them and give those that missed out a better chance next time.
