Over the past couple of days a lot of great stuff has come in:

A GON Skinny from Sent which I just finished programming. I put the coffee set from keypop.net on it.

I also got some keypop.net display / storage boxes and the Bumblebee set.

And finally unpacked and sorted the Retro DSA stuff I got from BunnyLake's endgame. There was a full keyboard with enough mods left over to build some epic side projects.

How is the GON Skinny? Does it move around too easily on the desk? How does it sound?

It is pretty squirrelly. I'm taking it to work on Tuesday where I'm hoping the grain of the wooden desk there will make it less of an issue. Otherwise I'll have to find a way to make a foot for it.

I got one of these just now.  Batteries dead in camera, so you get a stock pic from google  :thumb:

Show Image

Asus MeMo pad 7 HD in green.
I've been looking at those... Let me know what you think!  ;D

So far so good.  Most of the reviews are spot on.  Battery life is stupid good - was watching Top Gear on Netflix last night for like 3 hours and barely even dinged the battery bar  :thumb:
I haven't done much gaming other than a little bit of Anomaly Earth, and that looks beautiful.  Not very graphically challenging though.  For the $$, it is a good deal.  The screen is nice a responsive which was a significant problem on my last tablet.  I just really couldn't justify the extra $$ for a Nexus and I wanted the removable mircrosd slot.  The only thing I don't care for is the seam where the back panel meets the front.  Not a big deal as it will be covered with a rubber cover.
Yeah, I got one yesterday. Good lookin out!

Acrylic case. It's not as solid as I hoped it to be. Had to put some soft rubbery stuff between the board and case to make it more stable and/or solid. It will definitely do for now though.
LED's tomorrow and Vortex black on black ds's in the next 8 months if I'm lucky.

Bonus sad Gasmask.

well if demik wants to do it its his, but if not its in planning, several of them are to go with existing keysets that didnt have a gh key to finish them off, and i have about 6 or 7 new ones that i just want done

i may get some quotes over the next day or so and see if we can get it done so i could order it with raindrop and save the cost of having it shipped to us seperately, because that saves shipping from sp to us, and the shipping to eu and asian proxies from us which will cut down the costs a ton

well if demik wants to do it its his, but if not its in planning, several of them are to go with existing keysets that didnt have a gh key to finish them off, and i have about 6 or 7 new ones that i just want done

i may get some quotes over the next day or so and see if we can get it done so i could order it with raindrop and save the cost of having it shipped to us seperately, because that saves shipping from sp to us, and the shipping to eu and asian proxies from us which will cut down the costs a ton

Go for it. I'm way too busy with work to do anything right now. But I do want to start doing them again, eventually.
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

To be fair, I bought it at at thrift shop, and it didn't come in the mail.
