It says fragile on the box. Why would they break it open?

Did you have insurance on that keyboard? Or will the sender give you a refund?

Glad to see you've finally allowed yourself to enjoy Topre. 660C is as good as it gets in terms of 45g Topre feel. Truly a pleasurable typing experience. Flip the feet up/on to increase the thock.

Thanks for the recommendation! I usually type with the feet down because it's supposed to be a lot better for the fingers (switched a while ago) but I'll try it and see if the difference is worth it.

WEY HK2000 by GMK

All hooked up ;)  Trying to get used to the ISO layout and keep hitting a blank key next to the short left Shift when I want to capitalize...

Old school LCD display with lots of random information when booting.  WS1 is Workstation 1, which is my current desktop computer.  Gently used in pretty good condition, but I need to lube some stabilizers, as the spacebar is too stiff.  Other than that, stock Clears <3

It's used--the edges are slightly scuffed and there's some amount of shine on caps, but it has all the stuff needed to hook it up  :thumb:  I was originally just hoping to use the keycaps, but then it actually arrived with everything I need to make it work, so I thought I'd give it a try.  And it works great!  Looking very futuristic in an '80s way.  Needs some light cleaning and lubrication / maybe re-seating some modifiers / stabilizers.  The H switch doesn't always register, as I need to hit it just right or hit it a few times, so I'll probably replace it.  My main gripe is the ISO layout as I keep missing the left shift when touch-typing, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

P.S.: looks like the colored caps are dye sub?  Maybe printed.  They are all thick Cherry profile. Much to figure out about this keyboard still!

What a funny keyboard. Would be cool if you could use the display for something cool. Or build in a raspberry pi or arduino and hook it up to that display.

/bow  That's a great keyboard!  Beautiful.

(P.S.: that stiff spacebar "issue"... haha it's just a tactile MX Gray!  No wonder.  I've actually swapped it with another switch, putting MX Gray far out of reach and MX Clear into the spacebar, since all the switches are PCB-mounted, which is very convenient for a future lubrication session).
