The mail seems to be supermanning things sometimes. I sent those caps Saturday afternoon, right before the post office closed, first class, and they're there.

Whaaaaaaat? How did you get the clears so soon? o.O

I know! It's really weird but awesome! Both items were sent out on Saturday just before the post office closed and both were first class. Here already :) The keyboard gods must be smiling upon me. Now I just need my case and springs!

You guys are awesome <3

Yey!
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

The 650s are nice, although I found their bass is pretty poor. Might've just been the amp I was using though. What are you planning to power them with?

@huttala Nice rollermouse :P

@davkol How much did you get it for. If I may ask.

@rknize (headsets) Thats nice. How much did you get yours for? I have HD545 from ebay that I got for about 50 bucks. They were in dirty condition and the earcups broke when I was cleaning them lol... It is like 40 bucks for replacement earcups ><

@VesperSAINT I thought it was a good deal... We'll see if I put it to good use lol.
I'll try to remember to take a screenshot lol.

I've recently bought more Cherry keyboards, so I'm not really sure if it was this one, but one of them was just 6 EUR shipped and the seller had clearly no idea what he was selling.

They are plugged into a Fiio E17 right now.  The bass is a bit bloated compared to the DT880 Pros I normally listen to here.  The 880s are also 250-ohm.  I have a Matrix Mini-I at home, which I plan to use to compare all of these:

Sweet. I used mine with an E17 and E09K. I thought the 650s were really nice aside from the bass, so unless you listen to music that has prominent, deep bass like I do you should love 'em.

The legend on the control looks thinner than on the beige set. Is that the case or is it because the contrast is really low?

Either there is bleeding between the 1st and 2nd shots or the orange doesn't have enough opacity against the dark grey.

And where does the sheep go?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

A soldier is on patrol in Afghanistan and he comes upon an Afghan farmer at his farm. He looks around and then approaches the farmer.

"How is everything here on your farm? Are you treating your animals well?"

"Yes," replies the Afghan, "very well."

"Great," says the soldier. He looks over and sees a cow in the barn. "You mind if I ask the cow how you're treating her?"

"Cow no talk," says the farmer.

Regardless, the soldier approaches the cow and starts chatting with it, asking it how things are going. "Well, he takes good care of me. He milks me every morning and keeps us in good pastures with good grass to eat. I'm doing just fine."

The farmer's mouth is agape as he cannot believe what he is hearing! The soldier returns to the farmer's side and asks, "How bout the horse? Can I chat with him about the farm?"

Again the farmer replies, "Horse no talk." But the soldier approaches the horse, asks him how things are, and the horse says, "Things are pretty good. The farmer brings me fresh hay every week and we go riding every Friday to check the fences. Not bad at all, very happy to be here."

The farmer nearly can't believe his own eyes and ears. He is scratching his head in bewilderment as the soldier returns.

The soldier says, "So, how about I talk to one of your sheep..."

The Afghan farmer breaks in quickly, "Sheep lie! Sheep lie!"
