my 5th Filco board, mx browns this time around. now i finally have Filco TKL boards in all 4 switches lol

browns sure feel a whole lotta different than blues. honestly, i have no idea which ones i like more. "clickies" or "scratchies" :)
i think i'm gonna keep the browns at home and take the blues to work, see if the colleagues can stand the clicking :P

also, 80 pcs of costar stab stems, gonna need like 60 of them for all the GB sets, dayum.

Where from?

I bought them off him, along with a set of PBT dyesub RGB mods that I just realized were for keyboards with 1.5 mods, and I only have cherry keyboards with 1.25 mods...major derp moment.
I'll probably resell them here though. Anyone interested? :))

I wonder how the stick will feel compared to a 1 piece composite. It may never break, but what if it doesn't have life to it?

It's basically a one piece with a coating at the bottom. Only thing I was really concerned about was weight, but it's just as light as my other sticks. Haven't taken it out for a spin yet, but by all accounts from taking it out and handling it, it's not much different.

The thickest key cap I have ever seen!

Top to bottom is: doubleshot LoD (Keypop.net), WASD ABS, Thick PBT (Feng) & QWERkeys superthick ABS. Alas, #42 was not meant to be mine, but I'm still pretty happy with a single digit cap.

Interesting looking cross-stem! Did QWERKeys make the inner part thicker or is it wider in general?

It's just a hair wider than my normal ESC key, so really just thicker on the inside. Also very tall, spherical top - definitely sticks out!

Still early to tell, but it's surprisingly pleasant to type on. Doesn't feel at all like rubber domes. I'm going to give it at least 2 weeks before I go back to trying MX switches.

Congrats on the 55g! There may be a time sometime this week when you'll start feeling that it's becoming too stiff, but give it time, if that happens. Once you learn to type on it efficiently, it will be heavenly! I know that's what happened to me and many others.

Teenage budget says no :( (especially since I just bought $100 new IMSTOs for my filco)
I've been trying to sell my FC660C (which I love) and my Model M (which I don't care about) to finance it, but no one seems interested.
