I just used a small phillips screwdriver to manipulate it a touch, it's pretty close.  Very similar to the original Tai Hao sets that were super tight.

Quick update.  Do not attempt!  It worked great for getting the cap on the stem, but it was still too tight to be removed.  I just went to pull the cap to show how I did it and this happened.

Good to know not to give that a try though. I guess at least you helped out everyone else by letting us know.

Yeah, not a big deal really.  It's a pretty easy fix.  I was going to just rebuild it, but it may do it easier in the future, so I will just replace the whole switch.

How's the texture and legend on this set compare to GMK set?  And are the legends on Q, W, G keycaps "thicker" than the rest?

I am not sure about the gmk comparison as I have never had or used them.  As far as the legends go, in every picture I have taken they look pretty close.  In real life I dont notice any difference.

and then, of course, offcolor Tahiti came in today as well  ;D

It's actually offcolor #2 (i cri bc not blue one), but the cap is straight fire and still works pretty well with the anniversary blue color.

and then from yesterday, my not-so-intelligent, impulse-bought Trophy Silver Clack (w/ illuminati dots)

No plans for the Olivetti set yet. I guess I need a new board ;)

What? No ISO key?

Yeah, it's a shame ISO wasn't supported in this GB, but except for this detail everything else that is important to me is included:

text+icon legends on the modifiers, the "`~" and "\|" keys in both color combinations, windowed keys and standard Cherry legends on everything  :thumb:

Yeah!. The set is totally cool, it is just my nerdy thing into ISO enter that keeps me whining. Sorry.

People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.
