Ducky DK9008 G2 Pro with gray PBT keycaps and MX Green switches.

Nice quality.  Solid and heavy.  Much less CLICK-CLACK than my QFR with the same switches, almost as light to the touch as MX Browns, although much more clicky.  Easy to type on.  Certainly better than the QFR.  Will probably replace the spacebar switch with a tactile Gray switch.

Keycaps are very nice.  Good registration, sharp edges, slightly different cylindrical top than the Geek Hack PBT "Escape" keycap.  Very nice feel.  LEDs are blinding as always, but they are in the switches, so they should be simple to switch out.

Do not like the extra four keycaps above the numpad.  The "home" key deleted the first edition of this entry by telling Firefox to go home.  I'll be re-mapping those!  (Or maybe blocking them altogether!)

Have not opened the "manual" yet to see what the Fn key does.  Probably just the media keys, which I can do without.  Nothing that a little soldering can't fix!

I'll use it stock for a day to see how it goes, then decide what to do about the keycaps.  I have a couple of sets of WYSE keycaps and Moogles that might work.  Or maybe 33 or 51 whites to go inside the gray.  We will see.

So far this gets 1.75 thumbs-up!  (.25 off for those special keys.  They are next!)

I like keyboards and case modding.  Everything about a computer should be silent -- except the KEYBOARD!

This 2 just came in on Saturday.
(Attachment Link)
It's Full size Cherry MX blue Filco AI (blue metallic case). I'm evaluating it now but most likely I will give it away to my wife since I'm not a fan of it so far.
Another thing that came in is Deathadder 2013 which replaces Deathadder Black Edition. I can now say I love Deathadder shape. I also like its build quality and software. And obviously performance which is totally awesome. I'm using it at full 6400 DPI with no acceleration and it really makes travelling my 30" screen a breeze. At 3500 DPI it wasn't quick enough.

the metallic blue filco is my favorite OEM keyboard case ever. I just wish it came in TKL.

Yes it's a paint but I think it will protect the plastic from the wear my previous Filco had when I sold it.

That was for emptythecache who wanted a metallic blue Filco case.  The paint on Filcos (like Camo) is actually some sort of a plasticky-coating.  Like the whole camo "paint layer" is printed on at once, and you can see where it bends around the edges.  I'm not exactly sure how they do it... almost seems "wrapped" in a paint sheet, tempered, and with the sheet subsequently peeled off.  That's just an analogy--I'm sure that's now how they do it.

But anyway, spray-paint-wise, there's a similar metallic blue by Rust-Oleum Stops Rust.  And a super sparkly blue by DupliColor Metal Specks.

Nor did I, but USPS has been on top of their game of late.  I just shipped a cable to someone in Nebraska via First Class on Saturday mid-day/early afternoon and it already made it to them.  With how good First Class has been, there's almost no reason for priority shipping.

That also belongs in this thread, yes?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
