Got my sole mochi white blank today. Will post a picture when I get around to it. Really happy to have even get in on the sale. The mochi white really does remind me of a piece of a mochi. One can dream of a matching WASD/arrow set some day. It'll be a battle to get in on that sale as usual, but hey ... it's all about the journey right?

Congrats and awesome looking skullsicles guys :)

Is there a difference between the white skulls from the elitekeyboards.com sales and the hardcore white's cc sells directly?

edit: I think I found my answer nevermind.

http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=access,cherrymxkeys&pid=cf_5c_sku_hw

they are the same. unless someone here posts differently.

the answer is no, not right now, however, surely its easier to just look on EK than to post the question here and then wait for a response

THE SHORT STORY
A gift from my awesome wife:

I put it on F10 for the backlight control on my Shine II.

THE LONG STORY
So my wife asked me if I was successful in the recent CC sale.  I said: "No.  I didn't wake up on time."  (It was about 2am in Manila).  She said: "Again?  Good thing I got you this!".  She laughed and then passed me a small envelope.

BOOM!  3D CC! :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Apparently she picked it up on ebay earlier this year.

I think they are kinda semi-translucent.  Nice.  Wish I had one.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It would never happen in a million years.

Jealous.
When I'm on GH at home, she often comes up, looks at the screen, whispers "nerd", and walks away.  I then reply: "It's Geekhack not Nerdhack!".  Then we laugh.

Apparently...she's been doing more than looking over my shoulder...

Let's just hope she didn't pay too much for it. But it's the thought and effort that counts.
If I don't get a birthday or Christmas gift later this year, then I'll know she paid too much. haha :))

I'm sure you could make an offer for a translucent CC that would rival a small chunk of compressed coal.

lol.  I want one of those rocks too.  Nothing too big, nothing over 45 carats, 'cuz that's obnoxious.  But something like this one would be nice:

I want 45 carrots!

You'll find them in the fruit & veg section at the supermarket.
I believe the proper name is the "Produce Section". But yes, you will certainly find them there. I'm glad to see you're choosing a healthy lifestyle.

Where are the rest of the pictures from the sale?

All this whining made people ashamed to post their spoils. :/

Or a bunch went to non-contributing members.  I've noticed with group buys and the lot, there are many people who don't have any comments who join (and I'm always wary of them).  Same could be true here.

Me too!

Would anyone like to give me one so I can post a picture of it? :)
