Nah, you mis-understand a bit (I agree with your point though, played lots of games myself). To be compatible with the TI 83 Plus Silver the OS can only utilize as much ram as the TI 83 Plus. So the OS leaves 64 K sitting there doing nothing and unusable... Why? Dunno.

The TI 84 series (successor) has the same amount of ram as the TI 83 Plus, so its probably a restriction to maintain app compatibility. Even in the 84 silver edition.

Ohhh, alright, yes, I see what you're saying.

Without having used the newer one my perspective is from the 83+ looking up to the newer ones, speaking only about what their specs claim rather than what ends up being usable.

You have an Apple mug there, so you have to get a Microsoft mug too.  Only then will you complete your set.

I saw the following come up in the "You may also be interested" section of one of my searches:

MUG ibm keyboard red lingerie computer vintage clicky

Someone needs to ask the seller what kind of IBM that is.  It's tough to say at that resolution, it kind of looks like a model F but I don't think an F is sexy enough.  Maybe it's a space saver.

To change things up a bit...

In a previous life, this mug came into my possession.

They are indeed part of the larger Atlanta-based entity that provides various newspaper and telecommunications products across the nation.  This was  a mug passed out in celebration of a major expansion.

I can't say they're "Evil Empire" but the parent entity(Cox Enterprises) is quite huge and well spread out in various forms across the CONUS.

The trick with company mugs is to find one that is decent looking enough you don't want to barf in.
Left mine untouched.
