not lotr geeky (glad i didn't jump in on that) but gearhead geeky
it's really thick, especially since i don't wear jewlery or anything (barely even wear a watch anymore cuz of cellphone keeping time).
there's bound to be gunk caught in the gears in a few years, but i have a sonic water cleaner for jewlery(fiance has one for her jewlery, i'm sure all you guys with wives have one too, or at least for glasses)
the sizing was all messed up, i had to get this one sent back and made a "guesstimate" for my second time.
i've been told it's bad luck to wear your wedding band b4 your actual wedding (screw you superstition)
it's stainless steel, so like almost the weakest of the metals for wedding bands (compared with titanium/cobalt etc)
the good
my replacement sized ring didn't have the stupid company logo inscribed on the inside, that's cool
anyone have any engraving ideas? recommendations? i'll probably engrave our chinese names and date into it (but i'll have to goto chinatown for a bit for that to happen)
