I'm sorry, but I think that people who bid an amount should be prepared to follow through with it. Don't back out of an auction, especially one for charity like this. I realize s**t happens, but you need to be prepared to accept the consequences if you back out of a bid. Consequences like being on a list of "bad trades" or the like.

It's better than winning the auction and then running away not saying anything, or replying. I did not expect the other high bidder to backout as well. Something came up IRL, and I'm not having sufficient cash right now, if it makes anything better I'll bid 90$ again.

I have legitimate reasons for backing out of my bid. Anyone else who is currently going into college would understand. That being said, I would greatly appreciate it if people would not consider seeking higher education as a "lame excuse" for backing out of an auction.

The bid is always updated in the first post of the thread. I try to stay on top of it as much as I can. The bid is currently at $88, ~~unless akuJIWA is bidding $90, but his post is ambiguous, so I think we will stick with AKIMbO for now~~

I am unfortunately out of CC skulls that I am willing to just give away, so there won't be one for a while. Maybe I'll do a Topre skull auction for GH in the future, but I don't know when that might be.
