This is madness! Getting rid of some stuff is reasonable, but letting go all your KB stuff for biking hobby?
not just because of that.
today at work, i was dying going up some stairs.
i was disgusted with my self. need to change that.
I can completely understand how you feel. I was grossly overweight for the majority of my life. At the height of my obesity, I weighed around 340 pounds. Climbing a flight of stairs tired me. In the summer of 2010, I started dieting and exercising. I started just by waking. A few miles everyday. I stuck with it and I stuck to my diet. I walked everyday. I started dropping off the weight. After about six months, I started running instead. I consistently increased the amount I'd run every week or two. By summer 2011, I had lost exactly half of my body weight. I went from wearing a size 52 trousers to a size 34, and 3 xl shirts down to medium. I now run seven miles a day or bicycle 23 miles, six days a week or more. I feel better, I'm fit, and girls actually smile at me. It's a good feeling, and I respect and support your decision. Best of luck to you!
that is really awesome man. and huge motivation. i've been getting **** from my boss (cyclist fanatic) about my weight and my age. my father's family has diabetes, and i don't want to be another one. im too young to be feeling like **** over a few lousy stairs. if my keyboard addiction has to suffer for my health to get better, so be it.
plus, i want to see what the whole deal is about being outside. i've heard there's sun and wind and stuff. can't be better than video game graphics, right?
yup! that back seat is so you can ride along with me!!!
yeah, no farting though!!!!
$5000 for a bianchi bike??
there are some in the 1.5k range. but still, for a novice that's way too much IMO.
