I have finally, officially, joined the club!  :p

Since this picture was taken, I've thrown on my aluminum Geek Hack and Poker modifiers, but there's a lot more that I plan to do to customize this board. Already have a Beast plate and a Duck Poker case, but need to see if these MX Blacks are something I plan to stick with or not. Plus, I bought two Poker PCBs from iMav, so there are options galore.

I posted a full set of photos of the unboxing and breakdown, which you can find on Flickr.

I think I'm going to use the iMav DIY Black one for this board. Black switches, black switch stickers, black plate, black case. Finish it off with some Dolch replica key caps.

I put my Poker back together today.  De-lubed the sliders in these switches (blue with clear springs), lubed the springs, added my purple stickers, layed down a green vinyl plate cover/shim (Vortex plate 0.056", shimmed to 0.060" for better fit), gold-on-black PBT Poker caps.

This thing is so cool to type on now!!

That's the vinyl sheet you were talking about? Does it affect the sound at all?

Why did you de-lube your switch? Did you apply too much on to the point that the mx blues lost the clickiness? Looks nice. First plate I've seen in color that's not black or red.

The very same! I got this Poker used, "lubed" and keyless from rknize, and didn't type on it before rebuilding. Switches were inconsistent, lacking tactility and the click. Had to disassemble the stem and jumping beans to clean out the oil that was dampening the sound, and the oil from the slider guides that were doing the same. Now they're all even, and sound great. When I would press the stems before, I could notice the slop in the plate and it felt cheap; now it feels solid and all keys make solid clicks without any hollow sound.  It reminds me of a more solid feeling version of my complicated Alps boards, without any hollow tones. Very satisfying, definitely looking forward to daily driving this one!

Very! I fell in love when I pulled the sample roll off the rack! I made switch stickers with the same sheet, but the cutter pressure setting was too light and they didn't cut properly, so I used my purple test material instead. :)

here it is...
I really need a "decent" case...

case is made from random things.... (rubberbands, cardboard, random plastic cases i found)
black vortex plate and red switches (clear spring for spacebar)
Rosewill keycaps.
no leds.

Very resourceful. Is the case made from two data storage tape cases?

Swapped my CCnG to a set of White PBT's I got from justin one. Probably go back to the CCnG, but it was such a good price and I wanted to give PBT another try, but this time with legends I could see and a fn layer side printed to help as well.
