This guy is Québécois  not French. The keyboard is just another model F, and the cable has been modified.

That's the most ghetto cable adaption I've ever seen.  Nothing a teensy, mini usb to usb cable, and soarer's converter code can't fix (maybe $20 in parts).
Mkawa Beta SSK | IBM SSK | IBM Model AT F | IBM F 122 | IBM Unsaver | LZ-GH (62g ergo clears) | HHKB Pro2 Type-S | HHKB Pro2 | Realforce 87U-Silent (55g uniform) | Leopold FC660C | Omnikey 101 (blue alps) | Kingsaver (blue alps) | Zenith ZKB2 (green alps)
| KBD75 (box reds)

Yes, strange and dangerous. The controller might have been burned. The part they added looks like AT.

The hard part (for me) is finding a good looking female DIN connector to use. I'm not as hot on the internal teensy :)
