That's quite a bit, I just bought some for 0.22 each a while back

more like 100-200, I have to ask a quote for that quantity, but it won't never reach 0.22 that's for sure! (I don't understand group buys for mx switches if they can be found so easily)

i would be really interested in other switches as well but I know they don't sell as quickly as clears. i have been thinking about white + 62g for a while now but i'm still not sure about the difference in volume being affected by the spring or something else.

heavier, for sure. 62g refers to the total compression, not the amount of force required to actuate the switch. 62g springs are actually closer to blue/brown/red springs iirc.

Clears are like... 85g?  That's a guess based on fartin around with clear and 62g springs.

Sounds right... they're probably the same spring used in MX Whites but i  don't have any to verify against.

OK, I thought reds/browns/blues had 45g springs and clears had 65g. Now I know :D

Unfortunately no one has the metrics on actuation force for Korean springs (which are measured at full compression).  Cherry's switches are all measured at actuation force which is a partial spring compression.

In regard to clears:  resistance increases sharply up to 100 cN at the bottom.

Blacks have the same springs as clears right?

hype :)) people think they're smoother. probably because they're worn the hell out and have less material to create friction.
and no, black springs are lighter than clear springs.

Nothing but clears have clear springs.  And the difference between vintage and non is not proven.  People claim that they are 'smoother'  Interestingly some Wyse KBs both very and not so very old have a mix of these vintage and non-vintage blacks.
