Poker - uneven switch
« on: Fri, 28 September 2012, 14:06:25 »
Just got my Poker in today, and I'm curious to know if it's a defect with my board or if it's fairly normal on Pokers/PCB mount.  The switch for the 'H' key isn't seated/soldered straight.  The switch sits a slight angle, which makes the keycap seem out of line or like it's not seated fully.  The switch itself doesn't seem to have any issues, but when I keep looking - it throws me off.

Common or not, before I proceed through any RMA processes.

It sounds like a production QC issue, but all the keys should be uniform for sure.  I'm not sure if this is common, but if you are handy at soldering, it's an easy fix.  Otherwise, definitely see if you can get a replacement.
