Though, I could sell them once they hit my door and my qfr...I'd have backlight, tkl and a good board and my roommate wouldn't be giving me these looks

how do you like your ducky yotd w/ blues?  is the text on the keys holding up?
Additionally, how does it compare to your race and qfr?  This will help me determine if I become one of the 70 that buy one.

I like my Dragon.  It's basically a tenkeyless preview version of the Shine II.  I got the blue because I liked the LED color and if I'm going to have an obnoxiously bright keyboard, it may as well be obnoxiously loud too, right?  I also payed a lot more for mine!

I'm tempted by this GB as well. I own a Shine 2 and one other difference is that the scrolling marquee effect on the Shine 2 only goes back and forth through the function row. It doesn't go through all of the keys and have the New Year's explosion effect like the YOTD does.

The marquee is my least favorite effect.  I like the effect that lights up the keys you press.

Maybe someone who touched these boards before can answer these two questions:
1. quality wise - i have a ducky 1008, is this the same quality? i could bend and twist my board and its very low quality.
2. LEDs - is this the board with the cool lights that run from 1 side to the other? >_<

1.  Well I haven't tried that other board, so I can't compare them, but it has a metal backplate... try twisting that!
2.  It has all kinds of light effects.  Go to youtube and search "Ducky Dragon" then watch the Chinese guy demo the features.

1-I Cannot twist mine at all, solid as a rock

2-This board has the lights that run down each row, then light up from right/left to the middle, then flash FGHJ or, 2012(the caps it comes with)

After looking at the video, I see foreign symbols on the caps. Is this true of all of these?

The only foreign symbols are a special escape I believe.

Am I wrong or does each key have a white LED for the symbols and a blue (x color) LED backlight? Or is that just the video I'm watching?

Single color.  just bad camera
