[SOLD]: WYSE Double Shot Key Caps

I have three sets of WYSE double-shot key caps that I'm selling. Each key cap set can be purchased with the following Moogle kit:



These Moogle kits contain the "universal" spacebar which fits Filco keyboards and Leopold FC200R keyboards. Buyers of the key cap sets will get first priority for the Moogle kits. If you are only interested in a Moogle kit, post in this thread and I will contact you if any of the Moogle kits are available for a separate sale. Update: All key cap sets and Moogle kits have been sold.

Note that there are two different types of WYSE key caps, thin and thick:

Set 1: Thin WYSE 840358  SOLD with Moogle kit

These key caps were treated with Retr0bright and have excellent color. There is obvious wear apparent on the key caps (particularly on the numpad). The F7 and F8 keys are shiny smooth.



Price: $30 without Moogle, $55 with Moogle.


Set 2: Thick WYSE 840358  Sold with Moogle kit

These key caps were quite yellow when I got them. They were treated with Retr0bright (compare to the untreated spacebar) but they still lack uniform color. There is obvious wear apparent on the key caps. The numpad enter key is shiny smooth.



Price: $25 without Moogle, $50 with Moogle.


Set 3: Thin WYSE 840338  SOLD with Moogle Kit

These key caps were treated with Retr0bright and have excellent color. There is obvious wear apparent on the alphabetic key caps. The numpad enter key is shiny smooth. Note that the 840338 keyboard has a non-standard layout. There are no Insert, Delete, Home, End, Page Up, Page Down, Print Screen, Scroll Lock, or Pause key caps. Also, the tilde (~) key cap has a different profile than a standard keyboard.



Price: $15 without Moogle, $40 with Moogle.

Do you mean thickness? They are very similar with the WYSE caps maybe a hair-width thinner than Cherry caps. Unfortunately I don't have a caliper to measure them. Here is a pic:

I suppose one thing I noticed was the sound was nicer with Cherry versus thin SP DCS or stock Filco keycaps.  Is the profile any different, even slightly?  I really hate the bottom row of SP DCS.  Pretty much anything you could think of outside of the thickness, but that comparison image is actually really nice to see, too.  Just crazy subjective keyboard schizophrenia type things, y'feel?

Thanks for keeping me in mind, just waiting to get biochem's PayPal and 1 set + 1 moogle kit will be mine.  Only need the moogle, but I can't argue with his prices and I don't want to risk not getting the moogle while it's available. 

I should have my own thick set coming off the 840059 in the mail, and this thin set to compare.

I agree that Cherry key caps sound better than SP's thin ones. Cherry and WYSE have a similar sound on my O-ring modded blues. The profiles are similar. See the pic (Cherry black, Wyse white):
