I know, and over what amounts to a $3 overpay. Totally laughable.

I hope you don't get sucked in like I did. E-cig is another money pit. One of my "e-cigs" cost more than a topre and a filco combined  :-X

I spend about $45-60 a month on liquids and supplies, whereas with smoking I was paying over $120 a month and I'm living in a state where cigarettes are cheaper than most. Saving $60 or more per month, my $250 Darwin ecig paid for itself in four months.

or you could stop everything and save even more! lol jk. I understand where you're coming from. I used to smoke a pack a day at $6. At first I used to compare the savings, but now I just consider e-cigs an expensive hobby like keyboards.

the first time I quit smoking I didn't notice any form of savings at all. I just spent more.

I will definitely say that it can become a hobby very similar to keyboards. I've seen people on ECF with ten different battery mods, ranging in price and rarity from  $200 to $400.

By the way Xphat, I'm currently vaping Rawr Razmataz, mentholated 7%, I like it a lot.

I have 4 different battery mods. I used to have a Darwin but didn't really like it so I gave it to my brother. My most expensive setup is my GGTS SS w/ UFSv2 which is about $450.

spent more in general? I was specifically comparing cigarettes with e-cigs.

I've been vaping for over 3.5 years, since before the 510 or mods even existed. I was using the Ego since around the time it came out but have become rather unsatisfied with its vape some months ago. Recently I switched to the Ego-C Twist, which is a big improvement.

I haven't really visited ECF in some years now but recently found myself very much drawn to the Provari. Today I read about the Vamo and I'm not so sure anymore. Given the high levels of praise it receives from ECF users, it seems like it may just be the way to go. Plus VW seems more convenient than VV.

I just got an eGo-C Upgrade Passthrough and a couple CE4+ carts. I like it a lot, but the vape isn't that much better than the V2cigs batt I bought first. I was planning on keeping it for work and out and about anyway, but I also have a dripping rig for it, so there still is plenty of fun to be had with it.

and what's VW? I'm assuming VV is variable voltage ...

I recently tried the CE4 but found their vape rather tame. They dull the flavor and throat hit significantly. This seems to be the case with other clearomizers as well. To this day, I haven't found anything that beats the boge cartos.

You are correct that VV is variable voltage. VW is variable wattage, which has the added benefit of automatically adjusting the voltage based on the resistance of the atomizer. I just ordered a Vamo earlier today, can't wait to try it out.

I just did a taste test. Dripping tastes the best, then cartos, then the clearos. Surprising. When I dripped the juice, MyVaporStore Banana Frost 50/50 in 1.2%, the full banana flavor was right up front. The carto and clearo both muted the flavor but not horribly.

I can see how variable wattage would be great for vaping. Just start at 8 and mess around. I'd love it but I'm not going to buy any new PVs for a bit. I want to get the parts to make mine an eGo-C Tank (type B looks better to me) or get a Vivi tank or whatever they are called. I expect to be spending some time on youtube before I end up with a decision.

I've been looking into tanks as well. You should check out www.ibtanked.com. I will probably be going with one of those.

that site looks cool. The Bolt kits with batt and charger look like decent deals, I'll checkout the rest later.

I posted over there once or twice so far. I tried to send you a pm but I either am not able yet or I couldn't figure it out.

Yeah, I'm using the eTron menthol disposable until my order comes in. I can't wait to get into e-juice and refilling carts. I also want that V2 travel unit that doesn't have a battery because you plug it in to a 5v plug and vape away.

I've been on youtube watching every V2 vid I could find. Seems like a good starter product. I'll get into other more advanced systems but not until I have some understanding of them. I know I probably sound like a guy who wants to give the Black Widow one more chance before he buys a Filco, but quitting smoking was the most important thing.

BTW, are there any carts or electronic cigarettes from
ecigfiend that really taste like Coca-Cola? I have read reviews of some that "taste like lemon drops," which would turn me into the Hulk.

Well I have been using these e-cigs for a while. Got huge collection of flavors and tanks.. It is best way to quit smoking in my opinion..
