Soft Touch Keycaps?

A review of a QPAD MK-85 backlit keyboard said:

Like its predecessor, QPAD have stuck with the soft-touch key-tops. These feel really good to touch, grippy and smooth, and judging from the MK-80 which has been through a lot since its review it is a surprisingly durable finish. The lettering on the keyboards is transparent. When used in daylight the lettering still retains a good amount of visibility without turning on the lights. For use in dim rooms the lighting feature makes sense.

I don't care one way or the other about backlighting.
The soft touchiness sounds very interesting.

Is there a name for this type of keycap?
Do they last?
Where can I find other keyboards with keycaps like this?
Can I buy such keycaps?
Rosewill RK-9000RE #1 (Broke on day 26, fixed with Scotch Tape on day 42, barely holding together)
Rosewill RK-9000RE #2 (Lubed, still in the box.  I am afraid to use it because it will break like the first one)

Pretty much every backlit keyboard has a "soft touch" coating on the keys. So that includes the Razer BWU, Duck Shine II and YOTD, Qpad, Logitech G710+, etc. I think the CM storm QFR and Rosewill non-illuminated both have similar coatings on their keycaps.

It has to do with the enamel that they use to make the non-legend part black instead of clear.

The legend will last a pretty long time but they will shine like any other ABS cap.

I think that Ducky is supposed to release custom translucent legend keys soon, but other than that IDK any places you can just get the keycaps. Someone else here might.
