Pics: Kinesis Advantage With Blank Keys
« on: Fri, 14 December 2012, 02:49:23 »
Hey everyone,

My new Kinesis Advantage (Brown MX) just arrived! That's exciting in itself, but what's truly great (for me) is that I got it with blank keycaps directly from Kinesis!

Kinesis tech natas206 spotted my Geekhack thread (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=38032.0) where I asked about blank keycaps, and came to the rescue after Kinesis sales said this isn't an option. And what do you know, here it is!

Woot! :)

If you wanted them for a kinesis, you're best bet would be to talk to natas206 and put up with the shipping costs- the advantage has a lot of different profiles to deal with.

If it's blank keycaps for a normal keyboard - you could try Qwerkeys.co.uk or Keyboardco.com.

Apologies for the extreme thread necro, but as I hit this through Google while searching for the same info I figured you might appreciate a current answer as well with Kinesis owners searching for blanks. Kinesis is actually selling them through their site now. I'm looking to get a set, I'm just hoping they haven't changed the key layout too much from the PS2 Classic to the newer USB Advantage which is what they are selling them for.

They also have Dvorak and Qwerty dual legended and replacement Qwerty in case you lose yours somehow or get a board with legends you don't want.
