No, you can't get the exact RGB values, but you can get very, very close. With a good input it should be no problem to get the colour close enough that the difference between the true colour and the measured colour would be less than the variation in colour we get from everyone's differing cameras, with expensive enough equipment perhaps even beyond the level of differentiation for the human eye. Getting the definitive values would be better obviously, anyone ever contacted SP regarding this?
