Dammit. I was waiting for Easter discount but it wasn't for upgrade. So I bought upgrade few weeks ago (for IDEA 11+12) and now discount for upgrade. I hope that end of the world is real :-D

I'm using it most for Python coding. Reason for IDEA instead of PyCharm is that all of their others IDEs is like a plugin for IDEA. So IDEA is a little bit more expensive but you have IDE for Java, Python, PHP, Ruby, ... :-)

And it's really great. Most of things are working without any additional configuration or troubleshooting. I was testing android application - select run and emulator booted. I haven't to do anything for it :) Every menu action is possible to launch from keyboard, there are many small features which are nice and so on. Last (v12) version is very fast in my opinion too (even on my quite old ntb autocomplete reacts immediately and there is no waiting for anything).

Especially for languages like PHP/Python/Ruby where almost no IDE exists I think that this is great choice :)
