Can be done a kb case out of Marble?

Probably if they have the right tools. I imagine a water cutter may be required.

I just thought that the shelled aluminum was a bit meh, nothing wrong with it at all, just not my preference if I was to give $500 to someone for a keyboard.

Technically, the keyboard wasn't $500.  It was $315.  Even with shipping, it won't hit $400.

Yes it will, 125$ + 315$ makes it 440$ shipped to me with a pit stop in boost's garage
that hurts but still, I love the board and I can't wait for the postman to ring at my door with it under his arm
Regarding shipping cost,
Elrick if you read this and you feel like paying a bit more for shipping I can send you my paypal address anytime. And please don't be shy, just ask for it!

I only use a phone, tablet, or laptop in the bathroom. Definitely no Korean keyboard. No shelf for it across from the toilet!

Ah, thanks. The manual will be a bit tougher. I'll see what Google Translate can do.

Boost, I need info on how to program this thing. I'm Google Translate does nothing really. I can't seem to figure out how to get the firmware to take.
Also, FWIW. Pics.

That looks great smallfry!

So when I receive my lz-gh will I need to flash firmware onto it?

Perhaps, for the LED modes. I'm not sure at the moment.

I am in the same position, cannot figure out the software without english.  Doubly irritating is that I have boards with differing firmware or settings.  First board I tested had the LED brightness set to wtf dark, really worried me that the resistors were wrong or something.

I believe that I have figured out the raw programming part (just for mapping keys).
1) Plug in the LZ-GH
2) Press a key on the virtual TOP keyboard in the utility
3) Press the place you would like it in in the BOTTOM keyboard in the utility.
4) Press save up in the top left.
NOTE: For winkeyless layouts, make sure you download the right layout file from the LZ site. (or linked below)
What I have NOT figured out yet is the LED programming modes, though I presume that the modes from left to right are...

1) Full LED On
2) Gaming Mode
3) Text mode
4) Mood Mode
5) Pad mode, which doesn't apply to this keyboard since it doesn't have a supplementary keypad.
I will report back if I can figure out this LED situation. Also, sent you a PM Alaric.

Also, I have figured out how to control the LED modes without using the GUI. Hold the "M" (Macro, not the actual M key) and press 1-5. 5 is irrelevant since it controls a pad that isn't attached to this keyboards. By default, the "M" key is the Pause key.
By the way, DO NOT HOLD THE ESC WHILE PLUGGING IN. This makes the keyboard go back to the default keymap.

Hm, I suppose that you need to wait for Boost to drop the firmware file. That is really odd. Can you change it in the macro tab?

It doesn't.  The PCB in an LZ-mini is OTD produced, whereas the LZGH is the first of LZ's in-house PCB designs.

Oh boy, getting excited now. I will probably be missing something stupid like a  7x spacebar wire or SMDs and be unable to build it for awhile.

Edit: I forgot this comes with stabilizers, should be fine.

So I just ran out of resistors for the bright LEDs... I'll admit being a twit and not counting them before cutting them up.  Soooo, here's the deal:

732Ohm are for blue/green/pink/white  (label: 7320)
1.2kOhm are for red/orange/yellow (label: 1201)

If those of you with un-built boards could check when you receive them I have a feeling you got more resistors than necessary and should be fine.  If you aren't let me know and I will ship out what you need.

Ok, back to work.

So in order to get full LED support, one would need to solder resistors on the PCB? Or is it already done and can just install the LEDs and it will work?

You will need to install resistors And the resistors used depend on LED color.

EDIT: however I'm told the areas on the LZ-GH pcb where the resistors go come with a small amount of solder already in place.

Wait, this is a quote I have from you from youngmichael:
"The resistors need to be a ridiculously small SMD size: 0805 (2012 metric)  Here's a 732 Ohm part #: 71-CRCW0805732RFKEA  This is what I am using on the lower voltage LEDs (red/orange/yellow)"

Now I'm confused. Did you message the wrong ones, or did you mix up the ones in the thread. Or does it even matter!

It's not dependent on color, it's dependent on voltage.  For the LEDs that I sent out the easiest way to differentiate is by color.  For anyone supplying their own LEDs they need to do the calcs based on voltage.

And yes, that was a mistake re: 732Ohm for the lower voltage LEDs.  My brain is stuck on brighter==bigger ## when that's not how it works.

Ok so whatever you showed Youngmichael should still be correct? Pretty sure you linked him to LEDs and resistors.  He messaged me all flustered while I slept. I hope we don't have to order more resistors, I wanna start building next week!

Pretty sure we're good via PM.

K awesome. Thanks again for all the help! :)
Yea we will be good to go. I messed up by thinking all "like-colored" LEDs shared the same voltage (i.e. one red is the same foreword voltage as any other red) I now know I was wrong and need 1kOhm resistors for our particular red LEDs and our 5000 732Ohm resistors are no good for us....For now...
