IBM SSK MEGA bundle sale!

This sale is for Canadian's only would be best if the person is in Toronto too for a meetup :thumbsup: If it really doesn't sell then I guess I would have to offer it elsewhere but the SSK+items are heavy thats why I didn't want to do that so be prepare for high shipping fee

If you would consider selling just the case, I'd definitely buy. Just dropped a lot for LZ-GH and have been looking at an HHKB....not sure I need more SSK things.

Its that topre aluminium or stainless steel battlestation.

Not cheap, cost almost as much as the board itself.

It isn't an original Industrial SSK, but a standard one with an industrial shell.

Top shell is from unicomp so would you consider that as original?

offcourse its original even though they were made by Unicomp, dont forget Unicomp made bunch of Model M's with IBM logo on them..... Here is one of my Industrial made by Unicomp with IBM logo + its trackpoint.

they cant cause of some legal rights that belongs to IBM, but also its bad for their business since they are building name for themself.

Funny thing is everybody is raging about when they buy IBM that has the IBM label on the back instead of Lexmark or Unicomp..... But fact is most of those cases that has original IBM made sticker, those keyboards were made by Lexmark, Unicomp and other companies that used to work as subcontractors for IBM......

Only thing was for IBM managment to do is to have quality controll check, and yet even then you could find NIB Model M who has flexing issues and you have to snap it on better yourself....

let me make it clearer....did that keyboard get assembled in the factory with those internals and that case/shell or was it bought and put on after?

keyboard was factory assembled as a regular SSK and then the industrial top shell was installed on after
