How is this thing called?
« on: Thu, 28 February 2013, 14:26:32 »
Hi,

I recently bought an used Filco Majestictouch 2 and the first thing I did was clean it. But during this process I broke one of those white thingies that hold down the enter key. On the one end they end like a cross, similar to the switches and on the other end they have a lash where you can insert a wire. Most of the bigger keys, like Enter, Space, right Shift, Backspace etc. have two of them.

I do not know how they are called, but can I somehow order them?

I believe you are talking about the stabilizer? I'm not sure where you can order them; but if you put your location (country) in your profile people may be able to help you better.
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

Yeah that is the thing I am looking for. Thank you very much. Is there an European shop that sells those?

Head over to deskthority, there might be people generous enough to just mail you some for free. It's worth a try at least.
