Very nice :) melted acrylic?
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

That looks pretty slick. I used to use the plastic (thin) film cover that they ship with, but when I picked up the elitekeyboards roof, I decided that looked a lot nicer. A lot easier to clean a flat surface, too.

Curious as to the cost of this, and the equipment needed to melt/bend it? Looks great!

Yeah, I'd really like to know how to do this too.

I just setup a small workstation at home and I noticed my cats are liking it as well. I think a keyboard roof would help protect it from the cat hair, so if anyone has a guide, or tips on how to make one, I'm all ears.  ;D

I suggest you to post a tutorial on making the roof, it will greatly benefit the GH community, and maybe you can also try to sell them here, I may be interested in one for the poker, if the price is reasonable.

This is awesome. Great job. I'd like to see some of these roofs in a nice metal finish too. Maybe something that matches the case.

My home made keyboard roof ;)

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It's really simple, just cut your acrylic to the right size and follow one of these videos.  You'll either need a torch or a heat gun.
