all my keys are from the amd never settle reloaded scheme, they all come from legit purchased graphics cards, which are purchased for my friends bespoke pc shop, he then sells me his spare promo codes and i pass those savings on to people i know online
and also give a lot away for free
what you are referring to is people often buying groups of keys from shady sites with stolen credit cards or buying stuff from reliable sources and charging back the payments or exploiting the source, as well as buying games from countries with a much lower price point to stop piracy as well as flat out theft, this is a practice that has gone on for years but recently got a lot of exposure because the guys behind natural selection 2 kicked up a fuss about a charge backs and then a bunch of money hungry online news sites took that and ran with it for more click through views, im not saying it isn't a problem, but its been going on for years and everyone is aware of it, also if you are part of the game community its fairly obvious which keys get exploited and from where as there is a mass flood of them that appear all at once and everyone knows to avoid them
once again, all my keys come from a legit source and i have the physical vouchers from the graphics cards in my hand, i didn't come on here trying to sell these codes, i was giving them away on this board, until someone started this thread as they found a guy selling codes cheap, it just happened that it was a guy who buys codes from me and then sells them off in small numbers to make himself some profit, so i jumped in and said people can buy them straight from me without the markup
im sure by warning these people you have nothing but good intentions, but you aren't sure what you are warning them from, and throwing that broad generalization out there like you did leads other uneducated minds no make further assumptions about things they don't know about or understand, and i don't really want false rumors starting about me because i was being generous on this forum
