How exactly does that make it okay? I bought it and he said it was going to get shipped out right away, but he didn't ship it out at all in the first ~7 days and after I PM'd him he said he was going to get it out before the weekend which he didn't then he hasn't been online since.

I for one wouldn't sell something(and take someones money) if I didn't even have the time to ship it out for almost a month so far, I sell stuff all the time and I always make sure it's at the post office the next day, no excuses, and worst case scenario 1 day late or I have someone else take it for me.

It would be one thing if I actually had some communication but that is not the case and from how it looks it seems he hasn't been online since because he knows he can't get it shipped out. I would like to see how you would feel if you were in my situation, a classified is a classified, it doesn't make it any more right that its taken this long because its on GH..

Maybe file a complaint with paypal?? If nothing else it should get his attention....and get him to respond.

You're right. It's completely unacceptable. He knows he needs to ship an item out, regardless if he's "active" or not. That's why I'm cautious when dealing with sellers who may be irresponsible, especially if they're still in high school. Unless he's dead or has had a family emergency that lasted for over 2 weeks, there really isn't any excuse.

Okay, to answer some questions, yes I know he isn't/hasn't been online, I am just venting a bit I guess.

If I hear no response by the end of the week (20th) I am going to contact paypal.

I am a VERY understanding person, I don't want to come off as sounding like an ass from those previous posts. I have dealt with members before about buying things that they couldn't ship out for awhile and the item is put on "hold" for me and no money was exchanged, I waited on the member for 2 weeks and they still weren't ready to sell so I moved on, no hard feelings since there was plenty of communication and no money was exchanged yet.

If he is having some personal or family problems (I think we have all been there) I completely apologize and understand.

I still really want these but the clear tops are going on a board I am going to be building very soon and if they aren't here the board is going to be put on hold since I am not going to desolder all the leds, desolder the switches and open them up again. I am going to ask around now if anyone has any of these I can buy off of them if I don't hear back from rarar by the end of the week.

Bottom line, I wouldn't mind ONE BIT if I I at least had some communication with him about this, but I don't want to wait around for 45 days and him to have disappeared leaving me out money and time.

I've never gotten a good vibe from rarar. He and I worked on the r/mech wiki for a while, and he was rather unkind when I made a mistake.

Yeah, I am just going to go out on a limb here and say rarar is a ****ing scammer. I just found his reddit account and he has been active there, even within the past 10 hours..

Going to make an account there and message him, this was supposed to be a christmas present but that isn't going to happen..

I was going to wait and see if he replied but seeing as you still haven't heard back I'll put my two cents in. This sort of behaviour is pretty much the norm, it took him nearly a month to post my Red Alert set even though I sent him the money within 24 hours of purchasing. Spoken with a couple of others users who've made purchases with him and they said the same thing.

 I'm just gonna comment 3 things here.

1. I contacted the buyer, I'm awaiting a response from him. I Derek terrible about making him wait this long for this package, it's completely unacceptable and I'm to blame, I'm sorry.

2  the PayPal and email account are both  mine,  the #84  was the number I had back when I used to race snowmobiles when u was younger.
 
3  yes I was trying to buy a  bong but I have not spent the money yet, I've been waiting to spend it until I get the package shipped,  incase somethin goes wrong.

 I'm not gonna  say much else because I'm on my phone right now,  I've been rather inactive on gh  because I'm in the middle of a lot  of crap right now.
