New member here; just found your group buys and this looks like one of the coolest ones I have seen.
Signed up just register my interest! So very much a yes from me  ;D

Also, I like the look of the 'bit darker' one myself.

I too have registered to the boards just to voice my interest in this group buy!

I definitely like the old school look and shape of the DSA. I think I'd prefer SA but I'm a picky SOB.

How accurate is the color match? Is somebody holding real chips against a real Amiga or is it photographs of each?

interrested for DSA PBT if there are language sets.

The problem of language sets is the num row which is different in every layout. I propose to make a simple row with only one layer, could be numbers or symbols, to decrease the weight of language kits. This can be done with the other rows (for example, a unique comma and point key without any shifted symbol labeled) but I don't think it will be very popular.

For the fee problem, you could make PBT dyesub for the 1unit keys, spacebars… and ABS doubleshot for the others. I don't know if labels with the same font match between this two processes but for coulours we can have all peripheral darker keys in ABS and a clearer heart in PBT. The prob is for blank modifiers : the PBT colour should be the same as those in ABS or very close.

DSA is profile-less, so international layouts are a bit easier. My intention would be to support at least 5-6 languages.

nice ! I suppose you really mean 5/6 languages not layouts (us qwerty, uk/ir, colemak, dvorak… same language, different layouts)

What about mixing PBT and ABS as I suggested ?

Interested.

Very interested if the 10-key pad could have the nav legends on the front as on the Amiga OR be missing altogether.  I really like the look of just numbers on DSA 10-key pads.

Would there be any possibility with this set of getting the Amiga "A" key in place of the windows key or is it likely to add too much extra cost? I've been looking for the MX variant for a while but it isn't easy to find. If there is enough interest when the buy gets going maybe we could get it made by one of the people that does dye subs? Just my thoughts, been wanting to get an Amiga-style keyboard for a while to reminisce my Amiga 500.

Key is shown clearly on this picture: http://www.bboah.com/download_photos/a500_2_big.jpg

Id love to have what the original post was about: DCS PBT blank black 1x with a center dot for F & J.   Keycaps Direct lists them in their catalog (DCS - 1X ROW 2 - HOMING BUMP - BLACK (NDY)  303095 ) but they dont actually have them.

For christ sake anyone wanting any DCS's here get's a firm tap on the shoulder and shall be booted out of this cinema here.  We all want to see the Beige DSA delight only and not some other crap profile here.

I hope the op still sticks with his original proposal because there are no real authentic Beige and White DSA's anywhere.  I sure hope this gets the go ahead  :thumb: .

Have no real preference here as to whether it gets made via ABS or PBT, just as long as it gets made.

I periodically ping SP. They also sent me some PBT spacebar samples, but the mold is not perfect yet. As soon as they tell me that they can do the DSA PBT spacebar, this GP will start.

let me stress on this: this GB will be DSA. and nothing else.

These are it  :thumb: .  They will be the dye-subs to die for, if Matt3o gets involved here this would be unique like the Retro's when they first arrived here on Geekhack.

Can't wait for this to go supernova in the Group Buy section soon because when everyone starts placing the orders - it will ignite  ;) .
