Yeah. This is total crap. I don't think I've ever seen anyone asking 'What's a good first mechanical board?' on Deskthority. There are far more newbies with no mechanical experience here on Geekhack.

Those posts were actually hoarded into the "Keyboard Oracle" thread due to their repetitive nature and irrelevance to other posters.  It's sad the thread has been somewhat abandoned, mostly due to the "oracle" beind on a sabbatical.
