do_Og@n Sale/Donation to GeekHack Thread {lowered prices}
« on: Mon, 27 May 2013, 19:38:18 »
   This sale thread is for two reasons:

1- I need to get rid of some stuff to fund my future projects.

2- I love the GeekHack community and I want to do what I can to keep it going.

   So 10% of all my sales will go towards GeekHack. This includes any trades as well. Feel free to throw me some offers on what you see.

Donation amount: $0 (so far)

First donation of $41 dollars has been made. Resetting donation counter.
Second donation of $34 dollars has been made. Donation counter set to $30.
Third donation of $20 has been made. Minus $20 off donation counter.
Fourth donation of $26.50 has been made. Cleared donation counter.

I am looking for:

 - Cherry PBT keycap set (ANSI, white or black, prefer new or almost new)
 - Poker 2 w/blacks
 - Poker 2 PBT keycaps
 - Blue, thick PBT keycap set (most recent one by Feng)
 - TNKL Plate
 - 62 Gram Springs
 - Numpad keycap set for Filco

I was hoping to find a PCB because I have a ton of Clear & grey switches I wanted to add to it. Along with a beast plate. I just don't feel right taking apart a nearly new Poker just to do it.

I like 5a and 1c.

 What connector does the Fujitsu have, and how is its typing feel?

The Fujistu has a PS2 connector and the typing on normal keys feels great but I've noticed that the modifiers with stabilizers (besides the spacebar) are hard to press when you catch them on the edge. I don't know if that's normal because it's the only Peerless I've used.

On 1c the keycaps have A LOT of texture left but some of the keys are yellowing.

@samwisekoi - Wasn't it you that I sold the Cherry G81-1800 too?

Difference in quality and rarity. The more expensive the better quality it is.

No, they only come with the SDL to PS2 cable or the built in cable on the newer models (which is also PS2).

Keep in mind this isn't one of the newer ones but it works beautifully. You can use a serial to usb converter and it should work. You might need to play around with the baud rate (switches on the bottom) to get to work though. I'll play around with that and let you know if I was able to get it working. First I need to find my serial to usb converter.

I have an old machine I used it on for testing that still had a serial connection. I'll post later after I've tried the serial to usb.

EDIT: Nvm, took a closer look at the photos and they're not what I'm looking for.

It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Some stuff has sold but everything on the list must go so I can further throw myself into my keyboard addiction.

I will be giving discounts on multiple items sold at a time.
