So after trying to log into my PBE account for almost 30mins I finally found out they changed the availability policy. I mean, it's cool that people who couldn't get into the PBE before now have a chance. But god****ingdammit, I've been in the PBE for almost 5yrs. Getting booted off the list feels like a lit cigar up the arse from Riot. It's bullspit.
Care to explain? I know you had to have gotten into pbe before then they opened it up again for accounts recently. But other than that I'm completely clueless.
Well best as I can figure the reason I have been unable to log into my PBE account is because they put me back into the wait list pool. I guess Riot's servers just weren't up to snuff for handling their main servers as well as the more than doubled traffic on the PBE servers, so they decided to cycle everyone who has been loyal to Riot since the beginning bact to the start of the line, like who cares about seniority or how many bug splats you've helped to fix.
"At the end of their time on the PBE, tester accounts are deactivated (not deleted!) and automatically re-entered into our pool of candidates for future cycles. This means you don't have to reapply for future access and if you're accepted, you won't have to create another PBE account.
If you had a PBE account under the old PBE system (before October 2013), your old account has been permanently deactivated. If we later choose you to be a tester under the new PBE system, you will be asked to create a new account which will be permanently linked to your main account."*
