Hi all
Please help me to chose between 2 keyboards
Primarily interested in the durability of printed letters
I use Rapid 1 day, and i think the paint  wears off quickly because i could easily damage the letters with nail
Please share the experience of using these keyboards and share WASD photos of your used SS and CM
Sorry for bad english

I don't own a CM Quick Fire Rapid anymore (gave it away on a lottery) but I'm pretty sure that the painting doesn't comes off easily... It seem to me that they use the same keycaps and printing as on my Das Keyboard (well, Costar made them both):

I've heard about keycap wearing on the Steelseries 6gv2 and had a picture of it some time ago, but I can't manage to find it.

Anyways, there's also another reason why you should choose for the Rapid: Its modifiers keys are standard sized and there's no BIG-ASS Enter key, so it should be easy to find keycap replacements if needed.

Out of the 30 or so boards I've had the 6gv2 has had the absolute worst character printing I've ever seen.  Half my board was blank after only a few days.

The QFR's on the other hand was much more durable.

I've had my QFR (the black one with reds, not the gray one with blues) for about a year now, and the keycaps still look pretty pristine. The only keys that are showing signs of wear are the WASD -- all of the other keys still have raised white lettering, but the WASDs are almost worn smooth, so the white paint is getting thin. Especially the W key.

I'm looking into some more durable replacement options for the WASD.

I sort of like the simple, modern font on the QFR, I just wish there was something similar, but PBT or doubleshot.

Had my 6gv2 since Christmas and the letters are still going strong; the shift key as well as the Ctrl & Alt are starting to fade a little.
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

Same, by the end of the first day some of the more used characters already started to fade.

Thanks to all
I chose QFR
Maybe someone know where to buy key caps with cyrillic (russian) letters?

In classifieds. I have a set that I'm willing to part with—for cheap, but shipping costs would kill it.
